What: Student of the Month Award

Why: Camille earned her award by working very hard and on bad days she pictured the ultimate goals and looked passed obstacles, keeping her head up.
How: Camille kept her grades perfect (straight A's) and was on varsity everything.

On April 15, 2015, a student at James Bowie High school, Camille Seminet, won the Student of the Month Award.
Of the 3,000 students Camille was chosen because she kept her grades perfect (straight A's) and continued to make varsity everything. She earned her award by working very hard and on bad days she pictured the ultimate goals and looked passed obstacles, keeping her head high.
When asked why she thinks she recieved this award, Camille says " because I make straight A's, I try my best at everything, and I have confidence," Camille Seminent. Semminent has been inspired by many to reach this goal, she says, "My father winning back in '82 and the positive influence from my peers and teachers have greatly influenced me and my goals," Camille Seminent.
Principal John Johns presented the award to Camille last Thursday at the Award ceremony. The Principal said "student of the month awards are only given to students that uphold outstanding achievement," Principal John Johns. Camille's parents were also very proud of her. They said " Camille makes us proud in many ways, she is the light in our eyes, what she does never surprises us," Nicole and Max Seminent. Camille is very close with her counselor who thinks Camille is perfect for the award. Counselor Nona May said, " Camille is a well rounded student who embodies the true spirit of the Bowie Bulldog.
Camille wishes to inspire many others to reach their goals. Semminent said " The most important piece of advice I can give to others, to help them reach there goals, is to always be confident and try you best at everything, never give up," Camille Seminent.
The next award will be given on May 30, 2015.
