Architecture Preview

Habitat 67, Canada

3.) It is in Montreal, Canada
4.) It is a private building because people live in it, but you can see it from outside. 
5.) It cost $140,000 
6.)It was created to be a housing complex.

Nautilus House, Mexico



1.) Architect is Javier Senosian.
2.) Built in 2006
3.) It is located in Mexico, City.
4.)It is a private building because it is a home, although many people drive by it. 
5.) There is no info on much it cost.
6.) A young family with two children from Mexico City were tired of liven in a conventional home and wanted to integrated to nature.
7.) I choose this building because, 1st of all, the amazing shell shape and 2nd of all all the  beautiful colors. I also love the look of how integrated it is with nature, I love this idea. The shape just makes you  just want to smile, which is important to me. Also I just love how unique it is. 
   

Stone House, Guimarães, Portugal 


1.) Since this dates back pretty far, there is no exact Architect. 
2.) Built in 1974 
3.) It is located in Portugal.
4.) It is a private building, currently owned by Victor, although he has has some very "curious" passer buyers.

6.) The house was built as a family's rural retreat.
7.) I choose this one because its like none I've ever seen. I have always wondered what living in a rock was like, honestly, I mean if varies do we we got to try it. I also think its very beautiful, and blends right in with the country side. It has so much originality and its just plain cool, I think its amazing. 

Krzywy Domek (The Crooked House), Poland


1.) It was designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski. 
2.) It was built in 2004 
3.) It is in Sopat, Poland.
4.) It is a public building, you can visit it.
5.) No info. on how much it cost. 
6.) It was created for business purposes. 
7.) I picked this building because it reminded of Alice in Wonderland. I love the shape and the feel, make you feel like a kid again. I also love the shape, especially for business purposes. 

Kansas City Public Library, United States
1.) I could find the architect info.
2.)  established in 1973
3.) Kansas city, United States
4.) You can visit it,  it is a library.
5.) It does not tell us how much it cost to build. 
6.) The building is created, because they needed a library. 
7.) I picked this building because of the amazing concept. I love the colors and how huge the actual books were.  The concept and colors led you to it and makes you want to read.
